Summer Bike League Events

From the Bike to Baseball kick-off event to the Cascade Spawning Cycle wrap-up event, the summer is packed with fun cycling activities in all our communities.

Summer Bike League encourages YOU to put on summer bicycle events in your community; it’s a fun way you can build community and promote bicycling. We have created a Do-It-Yourself guide to give you ideas, tips, and resources for staging your own bicycle event.

Remember that going to the grocery store can be a Summer Bike League event by simply hopping on your bicycle for that trip. Make your summer full of personal bicycle events by exploring your neighborhood on recreational rides, running errands by bike, or pedaling to work.

June 23, 2009: Bike To Baseball - Summer Bike League Kick-Off
 The Seattle Mariners and Cascade Bicycle Club are joining teams to kick off Summer Bike League with Bike to Baseball! The Mariners are discounting game tickets for bicyclists who order online, and Cascade is will be at the ballpark for fun pre-game festivities to encourage bicycling.

July 21, 2009: Cyclefest
The biggest Tour de France party on the West Coast. Enjoy bike polo, big wheel races, Cycle U street sprints, and more.
