Major Taylor Project

Empowering underserved youth through cycling by promoting positive physical, emotional and social development

Support the Major Taylor Project:

Interested in getting more underserved kids in your community on bicycles? Please make your tax-deductible gift today.

We have two upcoming opportunities for you to bike your support:

The first is to participate in the Major Taylor Project Spin-a-Thon. Last year's Spin-a-Thon brought in $10,000, enough to serve 150 kids in 2011. This year we plan to expand the Major Taylor Project to a 6th location at Highline High School and serve an additional 30 kids, but we can't do it without you. Donate today or sign up to spin!

You can also raise money by participating in the Red Bell 100, on June 30, 2012. The Red Bell 100 is a new, fully supported one-day century ride from Redmond to Bellingham. Funds raised will benefit World Bicycle Relief and Cascade Bicycle Club Education Foundation. More details to follow.

If you have a bicycle in good working condition that you would like to donate to the program, contact the Major Taylor Program Assistant at mtpa@cascadebicycleclub.org or 206-957-6960.

Program development was supported by a grant from King County Metro and by founding sponsor Group Health.
