The Bike Business Forum is a group of business leaders who see cycling as a smart business strategy. They recognize both what bicycles can do for business—better employee health and morale, lower health-care and infrastructure costs, PR and marketing advantage—and what business can do for bicycles. While bicycles are important in their own right, business leaders understand that they are vehicles that deliver a powerful message: communities planned for people are healthy, vibrant, safe and prosperous places.

The Bike Business Forum is a place where the business community can work together to promote cycling, to share best practices for supporting bike commuting and to shape and implement a regional bicycling agenda.

The Cascade Bicycle Club convenes the Forum twice a year for a briefing, idea sharing and networking lunch and on an issue-specific basis throughout the year. The first Forum was hosted at Seattle Children’s by Children’s, Costco, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Group Health, Starbucks, and Vulcan with attendees from Adobe to Zipcar, Boeing to BNB Builders, Mithun to Microsoft.
